What percent of the practice time do you spend on strengthening your mental power? Mindfulness practice is becoming increasingly popular and has been successfully implemented in many professional sports. A few of the professionals who regularly use mindfulness practice are golf star Tiger Woods, Olympic US Gold Medalist speed skater Apolo Ohno and former Chicago Bulls Coach Phil Jackson (now of the Los Angeles Lakers - see his book: Sacred Hoops). Athletes and their professional trainers also reported increased stamina, mental agility, endurance and confidence after meditation is incorporated into their training regimen. With a stronger mind comes the ability to provide more effective guidance to the physical body to execute movements. Does This Ever Happen To You?
